Kirkland Museum honors the career of Barbara Locketz (1927–2017) with a retrospective exhibition March 22–July 14, 2019. Her artworks include oil paintings, prints, paper and metal collage, metal and acrylic sculpture, jewelry and textiles. She was a student of Vance Kirkland while completing her MA at the University of Denver and taught there from 1964 to 1971.
