This photo was taken during my last day of my Barcelona trip in January 2020 as I was walking around looking for a churros shop! I was completely shocked to see the light rays so strong at the end of the street - it made for such a cinematic scene. As I walked closer towards the end of the street, it became apparent that the light was like this because of a nearby construction site that had blown dust particles into the air causing the sunrays to create such strong light rays! *This photo won a Sony Alpha Award (2025) - part of the tenth annual Sony Alpha Awards competition, honouring the most striking photography from across Australia and New Zealand.
