Bare Bones: Volume I Master Takes is the debut volume in a new series exploring the foundation of David Grisman & Jerry Garcia's beloved studio recordings. This installment of duo recordings includes seven master takes released on Garcia/Grisman, Shady Grove, and Been All Around This World. The remaining 12 tracks, mostly from Not For Kids Only, were recorded as duos but were embellished with percussion, fiddle, autoharp, vocal harmonies, and yes, even insects while Jerry was out touring.
