This head is designed for medium baits in the 6-8" r ange (Ballyhoo 10" plus are perfect for the medium rigs). In bare form (no terminal tackle) the medium rig weighs 1.1 ounces. Every angler will have their own preference for hooks and wire gauge so buying the bare Reaper Rig gives the benefits of this easy to use, effective dead-bait trolling rig but enables you to choose your own hooks.
