Whenever I’m on Yorta Yorta Country I’m drawn to the Big River Red gums. The patterns made from the grubs eating at the tree trunks, the different shades of colours reflecting agai nst the bark, the sounds of the gums swaying through the wind and the smell of the leaves, especially on summer night walks on Country.
