A one-shot 'hunter and hunted' scenario for the sci-fi horror TTRPG, Mothership 1e. The players have been hired to work aboard a small freighter that's transporting a coffin-sized box. The rules are simple: don’t open the box, don’t ask about the box and don’t ask about the box's owner. Among the crew hides a stimulant-frenzied assassin. Using the module's sabotage table, the assassin holds a deadly advantage, but the players have strength in numbers. In order to survive they'll need to shake off the effects of cryosickness and outthink the assassin in a tense, strategic battle where every move counts. Features: One-shot: Enough content to make sure a single session is jam-packed with entertainment. Fully illustrated: Locations, NPCs and items featured in the module are illustrated. Map: A detailed isometric map of the spaceship Siq and a printer-friendly, spoiler-free 2D digital map designed to be handed out to players. Encounter tables: Tables for generating random events to make sure that no two playthroughs are the same. Ship Manifest: A ship with completed stats that can be utilised in your other sessions. Beginner-friendly: With a contained environment and simple mechanics, I wrote Cryo-Siq to be accessible for new Mothership players and first-time Wardens. Campaign-friendly: Cryo-Siq is versatile enough that it can slot into an existing campaign you're running, either as a job contract or a travel encounter.
