A highly palatable dust free coarse mix designed to provide optimum nutrition for working horses and ponies without the barley. Barley Free is blended from a mixture of bruised oats, cooked cereals, grass pellets, high quality vegetable protein sources and a broad spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement including important antioxidants (vitamin E & selenium), magnesium and key B vitamins. Pure unrefined soya oil is added to enhance coat bloom and gloss. Our Barley Free is highly palatable and suitable for horses or ponies in medium to hard work. A little chaff can be added to encourage chewing and the addition of a little well soaked sugar beet will not disturb the balance of the feed. When Barley Free is fed at the recommended levels then no further supplementation is needed.
