Handcrafted silver studs with turquoise enamel. Inspired by the barnacles which 'cling to rocks strewn along the rugged coastline' in Cornwall and Scilly. These domed silver studs feature cluster of silver barnacles, all coloured and textured using a hammered granite effect which is then enamelled. They measure approximately 10mm in diameter. Ben Miles and Lucy Gerrard of Silver Sapling spent several years in Scilly, living and working on the land and building their jewellery business at Phoenix Craft Studios, Porthmellon. Now home to them is Penzance in the west of Cornwall and they work in their bespoke studio. Everything is handmade with tools old and new, using mainly eco silver and recycled gold. Show more
