BRACKETS: If you plan to install your shelf using any type of bracket system, you will need to order your shelf with NO NOTCHING. By default, all of our floating shelves do not come notched. (Brackets are not included.) NOTCHING: If you plan to install your shelf using a 2x4 that is secured to the wall, you will need to order your shelf WITH NOTCHING.
