The Baron CB7 wheelset uses an asymmetric carbon rim with a 35mm internal width built to provide added stability and control with today’s wider tires and more capable trail bikes. Extremely light and strong, the Baron CB7 relies on our BST-Asymmetric rim design to allow for more balanced spoke tension with no compromise in ease of tubeless setup and reliable airtight seal, even under the most aggressive cornering. We partnered with our friends at Ibis to develop the Baron CB7 rim, and address many of the issues commonly found on wider, asymmetric rims, including difficult inflation and poor tubeless seal due to an imbalance caused by the two differently shaped sides of the rim. To solve this problem, our engineers developed BST-Asymmetric, all the advantages of our patented Bead Socket Technology, now in an asymmetric rim. The low sidewalls, carbon lay-up, and overall shape of the Baron CB7 also incorporates RiACT, Stan’s radial impact absorbing carbon technology. While still offering excellent lateral stiffness, Stan’s RiACT carbon rims deflect radially to absorb impacts and vibrations, making them more durable, more comfortable and faster rolling. The RiACT rim shape, combined with the added bracing angle of asymmetrical drilling, allows the Baron CB7 rim to maintain excellent lateral stiffness and strength. Baron CB7 wheelsets roll on M-pulse hubs, available for Shimano Micro Spline and HG as well as SRAM XDR cassettes, and available in all common axle sizes. When transporting your bike, please exercise caution when using receiver, tailgate, or trunk mount racks that may position the wheels of your bicycle near sources of heat, such as the exhaust system of your vehicle. We strongly recommend maintaining a minimum distance of 50cm (20”) between any carbon wheel and the path of exhaust of your vehicle, or any other concentrated source of heat, including but not limited to portable heaters and heat guns. Damage resulting from extreme heat due to automotive exhaust or other heat sources is not covered under warranty. 3 YEAR HUB WARRANTY All Stan’s NoTubes hubs are covered by a 3 year warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, consequential damage resulting from lack of or improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, and improper installation.
