From the Barrabool vineyard planted in '99. Fully destemmed and fermented with whole berries. 50% new oak. A deep-ish bright ruby. A good year for this well-made, medium-bodied win e. Handles the oak with ease. Aromas of cherry skins and blackcurrant together with a touch of bell pepper and violets lead onto the medium-bodied, elegant and nicely balanced palate.
