Design Inspiration The Hixon Barstool by Dessin Fournir is a sophisticated, Parisian-inspired piece featuring a classic tight seat and back silhouette. True to the brand's reputation for high-end luxury craftsmanship, it's a natural fit for a yacht's bar or galley seating — a handcrafted alternative to the mass-produced barstools that dominate most yacht interiors. We've selected three 100% wool fabrics from English Heritage Textile to show it in: a light blue for our Fontainebleau collection, a crisp white, and a natural. Craftsmanship Expertly crafted using mahogany, maple, and premium karelian birch veneer, the Hixon features an antique brass kickplate on the front stretcher for added durability and a polished finishing touch. The standard configuration is shown in an M-2 finish applied to the karelian birch and mahogany elements, paired with a light maple finish on the maple components; custom finishes are available upon request.
