Tile Leveling System for Consistent Alignment The BARWALT® PLS Max™ Tile Leveling System helps reduce tile lippage while maintaining consistent grout joint spacing during installation. Designed for both wall and floor applications, the system works with tile up to 14 mm thick and combines spacer bases with reusable wedges to keep adjoining tiles aligned as the thinset cures. 1/16" and 1/8" Grout Joint Spacer Bases PLS Max™ spacer bases are available for 1/16" and 1/8" grout joints, allowing installers to select the spacing required for the project. After the thinset has dried, the spacer bases can be removed by striking them with a rubber mallet in line with the grout joint while the wedges are retained for reuse on future installations. Reusable Wedges and Installation Accessories The reusable PLS Max™ wedges can be tightened with BARWALT PLS™ Pliers for controlled leveling pressure during installation. Anti-Scratch Disks can also be used beneath the wedges to help protect tile surfaces from scratches and marks. PLS™ Pliers and Anti-Scratch Disks are sold separately. Resealable Bags and Bulk Packaging Options Spacer bases and wedges are available in convenient 200-piece resealable bags for storage between jobs. For larger installations and professional use, straight spacer bases are also available in 1,000-piece boxes and reusable wedges in 500-piece boxes.
