Barytocalcite is rare. This specimen comes from the occurrence at the Admiralty Flats in Nentsburry mine, Cumbria. A cellular, mid-grey matrix is completely overgrown with rounded blades of Barytocalcite coated with chalky-white Baryte to 1.5 cm.
