Know what is happening in the paddock before you head out. Hay Mate Mini helps Australian hay producers and baling contractors follow changing conditions remotely and get an alert when humidity reaches their chosen threshold.Temperature and humidityA portable starting point for monitoring your baling window. How it works Hay Mate logs temperature and humidity every 5 minutes and sends readings to the cloud and app every 10 minutes. Check the readings and graphs over time in the Hay Mate app. Set your own humidity threshold. The system calls and texts your phone and the selected users on your hay team when that threshold is reached. Telstra 4G/4GX connectivity; suitable mobile coverage is required. Solar powered, with built-in battery storage. Every Hay Mate includes a solar panel that keeps its battery charged during normal outdoor use, so there is no routine recharging. Humidity is a leading indicator of changing baling conditions. Use it alongside checks of the hay’s moisture and condition; there is no single humidity threshold that suits every crop or paddock.Price and included subscriptionAUD $1,650 including GST ($1,500 excluding GST).Includes your first year’s subscription: Hay Mate app access, mobile data and phone call/SMS message alerts.
