David Zucker directs South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone in the sports spoof BASEketball, which comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the ori ginal theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. French and Spanish subtitles are accessible, and the soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include biographies of the cast and crew, production notes, and a theatrical trailer. This Universal release does a superb job of presenting the film, but the disc would be more appealing with either deleted scenes, or a commentary by Parker and Stone. Show more
