Baseline biCoders are bi-directional two-wire valve decoders that simplify installation and field configuration for commercial and municipal irrigation systems. Available in single-, two- and four-station configurations, these sealed decoders send real-time status back to the controller while providing robust onsite diagnostics. True bi-directional communication: receives commands and reports status back to the controller for accurate system monitoring and fewer callbacks. In-field assignment: assign any biCoder or individual station to any zone directly from the controller after installation, eliminating extra programming trips. Built-in diagnostics: integrated LEDs and an amperage meter detect no-current, station shorts and over-current conditions for faster troubleshooting. Direct-burial rated: fully sealed, shock-resistant construction suitable for valve-box installation and outdoor use. Reliable performance: supports multiple zones concurrently and extended two-wire distances to reduce controller count and shorten water windows. Multiple configurations and accessories: offered as BL-5201 (1‑station), BL-5202 (2‑station), BL-5204 (4‑station) and additional flow, pressure and event variants. Each biCoder works with Baseline biLine two-wire controllers and follows Baseline’s biLine protocol for secure, low-voltage operation. They require typical irrigation solenoids (approx. 400 mA inrush, ~200 mA holding current) and include industry-grade sealing and wiring leads for straightforward valve-box installation.
