It’s 1944 in the month of June during World War II. Michael Crawler is an African-American pilot for the Army Air Corps. After a fierce battle in the sky, he crash lands near a far m in France. He is found and taken care of by a lonely farm girl named Katrine. Although he doesn't speak French and she doesn't speak English, they learn to communicate and help each other.
