B.A.S.H - Budget Alpine Striking Hand-Drill Powered tools are NOT legal in some areas. Hand drilling holes for installing climbing bolts is not fun but we can make it suck less! Other hand drills are heavy, expensive, pinch your fingers, or don't protect your hand enough. The B.A.S.H is only 105 grams (Rocpec is 198 grams) and is ~1/4 the price. BIG hands actually fit on the handle and are protected by the sombrero sized top. The core is designed to specifically fit sds bits. 6 inch bits only stick out 1.5 inches so you in theory could start with them but you’ll need an 8 inch or 12 inch drill bit. You can clip it to your harness directly via the eye in the top which works with all normal sized carabiners. We include 3 feet of 750 paracord so you can keep it attached to your wrist while bashing. Compatible with SDS Plus drill bits up to 1/2" in diameter. Drill bits are NOT included with the BASH
