During the Basic Bushcraft Course, students will explore our school property at a leisurely pace while learning to optimize their gear and utilize natural resources effectively. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare: Key Details: Start Time: 9:00 AM Location: Ringtown, Pennsylvania Duration: Three days, two nights Focus: Students will stay on school grounds and sleep in tarp shelters crafted during the training. On-Site Amenities: Bathrooms: PortaJohn facilities available. Vehicle Access: Students can access their vehicles during the course. Freshwater: Available on-site, but we recommend bringing an additional 1–2 gallons. Food: Dinner will be provided on the second night and will include a meat source. For all other meals, students are responsible for bringing their own nonperishable foods and snacks to help simplify break times. PREPARATION TIPS: Bring nonperishable snacks and meals to keep you fueled throughout the day. Pack appropriately for outdoor conditions and bring gear for tarp shelter construction.
