Basic Instincts™ Cat Duck formula is great alternative to white meat for many cats. We have listed it as an exotic meat due to the high fat content. As duck is higher in fat than chicken or turkey we start by using use whole duck and add additional wings and necks to increase the lean muscle tissue percentage in our meals. Duck should only be used a supplemental meat unless otherwise directed by a veterinarian. Duck does not fall into the same white meat category and therefore should not be fed a sole source of white meats.
