This Reading Comprehension - Light Industrial test examines the test taker's ability to draw important information from written material. The material covers passages on job activities that include woodworking, electrical installation, metalworking and measurement, automotive manufacturing, and scheduled grounds keeping and handy work. These topics were chosen to expose the test taker on a variety of industrial and labor intensive situations. After reading each passage, test takers are then asked to answer questions based on what they have read. This test is designed to be administered to applicants for industrial positions where a basic understanding of written information is important.
