Basil - Dark Opal seeds Ocimum basilicumPacket: 60 seeds, 2g Looking for a plant that packs a flavourful punch and adds a pop of colour to your garden? Look no further than Basil D ark Opal! This bold and beautiful basil boasts richly purple leaves that add a dark edge to any bed. And don't let its colour fool you - while it may not be as culinary as some other basil varieties, its young leaves and shoots still pack a flavourful punch. Plus, this fast-growing red basil has slightly ruffled, mostly purple plants, with 10% variegated or all green for a great colour combo. The leaves average 3-6cm at full size, and the red leaves and purple flowers make attractive garnishes and cut flowers.
