Here’s my favorite Paleo twist on Spaghetti Bolognese! Swap traditional spaghetti with Hearts of Palm Pasta—a low-carb, high-fiber alternative made entirely from the Hearts of Palm vegetable, cut into noodle-like strands. It’s a fantastic pasta substitute that closely mimics the texture of regular noodles and can be easily found at Trader Joe’s or online.Bolognese Sauce:1 jar of organic pasta sauce1 lb of organic chicken or meat of your choice1 large onion🧅, chopped2 cloves of garlic🧄, minced1 green bell pepper🫑, chopped1 broccoli crown🥦, chopped into florets1 tablespoon Italian seasoning1 and 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt1/4 tsp black pepper1/4 cup olive oil Fresh basil🌿 for garnishing Instructions:1) In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-low heat. Sauté the onions, garlic, and bell peppers until caramelized and fragrant.2) Add the ground chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spatula, until browned.3) Reduce the heat and let any excess moisture evaporate before adding the pasta sauce and broccoli florets. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce is well combined and the broccoli is tender.4) To prepare the Hearts of Palm pasta, simply warm it in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil for about 5 minutes.5) Serve the pasta topped with the bolognese sauce and fresh chopped basil.Enjoy this delicious and healthy twist on a classic dish!
