Do you love Basel? Then this is for you! I spent a day wandering around Basel sketching - focusing on the female aspects of the city. I then produced this joyous woodcut print - hand printed in my studio without a press. It moves, drawing your eye around... kept in simple black and white to make a clear statement on your wall. It is printed on handmade Japanese paper. It is an edition of 12. Also available as a greetings card. Please note: hand printing and hand burnishing means every print is slightly different - just like us! Because I am not a machine. Hand burnishing results in a more delicate, irregular image, making it more alive. It sings! I will send it to you carefully wrapped in cellophane with cardboard backing, or in a roll, either way making sure it arrives at your address in pristine condition.
