This well preserved tooth is 40 to 34 million years old from the Late Eocene Period. Basilosaurus was first thought to be a reptile but was later identified as a genus of ancient c etaceans. Unlike modern cetaceans, basilosaurus had various types of teeth in its mouth, and was able to chew its food unlike modern cetaceans. This tooth's unique shape would be a stunning addition in any collection. Our Basilosaurus teeth are native to Dakhla Western Sahara, South Morocco.
