Alabado, a Filipino Third Lieutenant with the 31st Division under USAFFE, survived the Bataan Death March and set his account down as Bataan, Death March, Capas: A Tale o f Japanese Cruelty and American Injustice. The book follows the march to its endpoint at Capas, Tarlac, where survivors of the march and the brutal boxcar transport from San Fernando faced a final walk to Camp O'Donnell.
