Bath's Georgian crescents curve one inside another when seen from above, each terrace following the gentle arc of the one before it, pale stone deepening to shadow only where one curve overlaps the next. This rug holds that same layered curvature: rounded fields of bone, sand, and deep cocoa nested against each other, a fine white line tracing loose, wandering curves across the whole composition like a plan sketched lightly over the stone itself. Hand-tufted by the weavers of Jaipur, the wool carries its colour in soft, blocked tones while the line sits in a separate, finer yarn raised just above the field. Given the organic, irregular outline, sizing here is bespoke rather than standard. Beneath a Georgian cornice or bare concrete, the nested curves settle into a room rather than dominating it.
