Beautiful batik art produced in Tanzania by brushing hot liquid wax onto a piece of cotton cloth in a desired pattern and design. The cloth is then dipped into a dye which adheres to all the areas that are not covered by the wax. The wax is then removed and reapplied repeatedly for each color used.
