Rechargeable NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries are powerful and durable. Quick and easy to charge, they can be charged hundreds of times to save money every time. Particularly well-suited for devices requiring high-energy development over a short time, these batteries have far higher power reserves than standard alkaline manganese batteries. They are ideal for everything such as digital cameras, portable CD players, notebook computers, and gaming controllers. When not in use they can hold their charge for up to 12 months. Batteries are offered with or without a charger. Sizes that include the option come with an Energizer Basic Charger which is capable of charging either AA or AAA size batteries. NOTE: Only use Energizer rechargeable NiMH batteries in the Energizer Basic Charger. Attempting to charge batteries of a different manufacturer and/or battery composition can damage your batteries and charger.
