Batussa slang for a braw is the side project of Oscar, the brain child behind La Furtiva. All the grapes are procured in an equitable manner, seeking to pay growers a more sustaina ble price for their produce. In Oscar’s mind this is an eternal fight or brawl. In his own words, if growers are not even able to have a sustainable life growing grapes then all the talk of having good grapes without the use of chemicals to increase the yields will remain a dream.This cuvée is made with a blend of Macabeu and Xarel•lo purchased from an low intervention farmer in Penedes. One of our favourite whites at the moment, super fresh with notes of dried citrus, a refreshing acidity and a lasting saline finish almost like a sea breeze. Show more
