The Bauer Elite Youth Padded Goalie Shirt adds a comfortable protective base layer beneath a young goalie’s chest protector. Strategically placed padding around the clavicle, shoulders and ribcage helps cover areas where occasional shots may work through the outer equipment, while the long-sleeve fabric manages sweat during practices and games. Its relaxed goalie-specific fit is designed to layer without feeling like a restrictive compression top.Bauer Elite Youth padded-shirt features Goalie-specific padding: Padding is positioned around the clavicle, shoulders and ribs to add coverage beneath the chest protector. Moisture management: The fabric helps move perspiration away from the body so the layer remains more comfortable through long sessions. Loose layering fit: The cut leaves room for movement and is intended to sit comfortably under youth and junior goalie equipment. Long-sleeve coverage: Full sleeves create a consistent base layer between the skin and protective gear. Youth sizing: Choose from the available Small through XL sizes based on the goalie’s current measurements and preferred fit. How to size and wear the shirtUse the goalie’s chest and height measurements rather than relying only on age. The shirt should sit close enough that the padding stays over the intended areas but should not bunch under the chest protector or limit arm movement. This padded base layer supplements properly fitted certified equipment; it does not replace a chest protector or neck guard. Allow the shirt to dry fully after use and follow the garment-care label when washing.Related equipment and alternativesCompare the Bauer Elite Youth Padded Pant, the Aegis Interceptor G Neck Guard, or the Bauer S26 GSX Junior Chest and Arm to complete your setup or review another option.
