About the same weight as Kryptonium frames but less than half the price. Heavier may feel them flex more than an aluminum frame, but they should hold up well for anyone. Though they aren't intended to replace Krypto frames as the top performance option, these are a huge upgrade over the old two piece frames. Nice new product from Bauer.
