The Baum Gold Stock AAA Pro with a flared knob combines the familiar appearance and sound of wood with a reinforced wood-composite construction made for repeated competitive use. Its balanced swing keeps the barrel easy to control, making this model comfortable for hitters who want to work the entire field rather than fight a heavily loaded barrel.Baum shapes the AAA Pro profile from elements of popular 110, 243 and 271 wood-bat turns. The result is a full hitting surface with an approachable feel through the zone. This version uses a flared knob, creating a smooth transition into the bottom hand for players who like to rest their hand against the taper. The -3 configuration is BBCOR approved for high-school and college baseball. Baum also lists the Gold Stock as accepted for Perfect Game, PBR, WWBA and other major wood-bat competition. It is handcrafted in the United States and covered by Baum’s current 12-month manufacturer warranty.
