Domaine des Baumard, located in the heart of the Loire Valley, is renowned for its exceptional Chenin Blanc wines. The Savennieres appellation, known for its schist soils, imparts a unique minerality to the wines. This wine is crafted from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes, showcasing a vibrant expression of the varietal. The winemaking process involves careful fermentation and aging in stainless steel to preserve the natural acidity and fruit purity. The wine exhibits a complex flavor profile with notes of ripe pear, quince, and a hint of honey, balanced by a crisp acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish. It pairs beautifully with seafood dishes, creamy cheeses, and poultry. Show more
