You'd be hard pushed to find a nicer seaside view than from the hillside walk down to St Ives! Beyond the chimney pots of cottages nestled above Porthminster beach, seagulls swirl above the pier lighthouse and the town full of victorian charm rises above the sand. Even on a grey day, this place has an undeniable brightness. My focus in this piece was to bring all the ingredients that make St Ives so special into one composition. Show more
