It is supplied as colored borosilicate glass for lampworking when you want an orange tone that can be brought up and tuned through controlled heatwork rather than appearing fully developed straight out of the flame. How it is used: Use this color as you would any borosilicate color rod in the torch. Build your form, then use heat cycling to strike the color and bring up the orange. This type of color is especially useful for layered work, transparent or semi-transparent overlays, and areas where you want the final color to develop after you have established shape and wall thickness.
