That truth is so easy to lose track of and to forget when the clouds are so quickly overtaking you. Your heart feels so fragile, and you are certain it will get broken irreparably, yet this is the exact moment it has been waiting for - to carry you, to act as a blockade between you and your overactive mind, and to prove (as much to itself as to you) that the perception of fragility is so completely wrong. This is when it shows the world that the brilliant brain has nothing on the heart, and that when times are toughest, the heart is the go-to savior masquerading as a workhorse. Shield yourself however you need to, but always - ALWAYS - trust that the journey through the storm is survivable. The sense of feeling alone is normal. The fear is ok, too. If you don't fear the storm, then you might not be respecting it enough. See it, understand it, accept it, defeat it. Repeat. Your heart is stronger than you think.
