First Wash:To set the fibres and enhance softness: Wash before first use in cold or warm water. Add ½ cup of baking soda to the wash or ½ cup of white vinegar (not both) to help seal the fibres and boost absorbency. Avoid fabric softeners — they can coat the fibres and reduce absorbency.
