In Beachside Blues, I was drawn to the ever-changing moods of the coastline and the way the sea shifts between calm and quiet energy. Layers of deep ocean blues and turquoise sweep across the canvas, suggesting movement and depth, while softer, lighter tones hint at reflections dancing on the water’s surface. I worked intuitively, allowing the brushstrokes to flow and overlap, much like waves meeting and retreating from the shore. Sides are painted in a crisp white to set off the artwork.
