The Bead App is a small adjustable lap table which provides a rest for hands making it ideal for bead work and jewelry making. Helps reduce fatigue in neck, shoulders, arms, and back. The top surface can be adjusted in multiple directions: up/down, forward/backward, flat/slant. Surface measures 12" x 8", height can be adjusted from 4" - 8". Handcrafted of natural pine and Baltic birch woods. Surface is sanded but does not have a finish applied. Weighs approximately 1lb. 14oz. Star Knobs for easy adjustment. Under the cover is a non-slip surface for tracing and marking quilt pieces. Three spindles for thread storage. Strong magnet is provided in the base to be used as a pin, needle, or small scissor minder. Working area features a raised rubber edge to prevent beads and findings from rolling off. There is a removable textured blue foam that keeps the beads from rolling around. Collapses for travel to 4" depth. There is no need for disassembly. To view the multi-directionality of this product we recommend viewing the videos of the Lap App, which differs only by it's working surface. The Lap App is meant for handwork; the Bead App is meant for bead/jewelry work due to the rubber and foam surface.
