Description Effective and easy-to-give, Beaphar WORMclear® Tablets for Dogs are a veterinary medicine available without prescription containing pyrantel embonate, praziquantel and febantel, that kill all types of common intestinal worms (roundworms, whipworms, hookworms and tapeworms) found in UK dogs. These tasty pork-flavoured tablets can be given with or without food. Suitable for dogs and puppies from 2 weeks of age and weighing more than 3kg. They can also be given to nursing dogs. The two tablet pack is suitable for dogs weighing up to 20kg. For dogs weighing between 20-40kg, use Beaphar WORMclear® Tablets for Dogs four tablet pack. As fleas can carry tapeworm eggs, it’s important to ensure your dog’s flea treatment is up to date, to reduce the risk of reinfestation from ingesting infected fleas. TASTY PORK-FLAVOURED TABLETS: ensures the worming tablets easy to give, with or without food. 2 TABLET PACK: This pack provides two worming treatments for dogs weighing up to 10kg, or one worming treatment for dogs weighing 10-20kg. For dogs weighing over 20kg, use Beaphar WORMclear® 4 tablet pack. COMPREHENSIVE CONTROL OF ALL COMMON INTESTINAL WORMS: Dogs can pick up worms from many sources including animal faeces, contaminated soil, vegetation, scavenging and eating infected rodents or even consuming infected fleas whist grooming. It’s a good idea to apply regular flea treatment, such as Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On or Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO, as well as worming your dog regularly. Directions For Use ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Do not remove the tablet(s) from the foil until you are ready to use the product. Weigh your dog carefully and use the following table to calculate the correct dose. Give 1 Beaphar WORMclear® Tablet for Dogs per 10kg of body weight. Dogs weighing 3–5kg: ½ tablet Dogs weighing >5–10kg: 1 tablet Dogs weighing >10–15kg: 1 ½ tablets Dogs weighing >15–20kg: 2 tablets For dogs weighing more than 20kg, you will need Beaphar WORMclear® for Dogs, four tablet pack. Tablets should be given directly to your dog but if necessary can be disguised in food. Puppies: Treat at 2 weeks of age and retreat every two weeks until they are 12 weeks old. Thereafter they can be treated at three monthly intervals. Nursing dogs: Treat from 2 weeks after giving birth, at the same time and as frequently as her puppies until weaning. It is recommended to worm your dog at least every 3 months. Pets at greater risk should be wormed between 4-12 times a year. * Do not exceed the stated dose. In the event of an overdose seek immediate veterinary advice. * ESCCAP Guideline 01 Seventh Edition – June 2025 Ingredients Praziquantel 50mg, Pyrantel 50mg (equivalent to 144mg pyrantel embonate), Febantel 150mg Cautions Do not use in dogs under 2 weeks of age or weighing less than 3kg, as this could result in overdosing. Do not use simultaneously with any other worming products or if your dog is allergic to any of the ingredients. If your dog is receiving other medication, check with your veterinary surgeon before using this product. Do not use in cats. Do not use in sick or convalescent animals. Do not use in pregnant bitches. If signs of disease persist or appear, consult a veterinary surgeon.
