This kettle is something special. The lid features an analog thermometer with a large dial that can measure temperatures from 60 to 100°C. This allows for extraction at the appropriate temperature depending on the application and recipe. The pipe diameter and tip shape of the spout were carefully designed through trial and error, resulting in a spout that allows for easy control of the water flow and provides a clean, sharp pour. Although analog, we tested the accuracy with a digital thermocouple and this thermometer is accurate! No worries with stable temperature for those precise recipes. Induction capable - hand wash only always recommended. If using gas, careful not to allow the flame to torch the handle / leather cover. The leather cover was developed to reduce heat from the metal handle and provide a more comfortable dripping experience.
