The Beat Light Collection pulled its inspiration from traditional Indian cooking pots and water vessels. Tom Dixon works closely with skilled artisans in Moradabad in Northern India, using rapidly vanishing skills learned from ancient Indian craftsmen, to create these beautiful fixtures. The Beat brass shades are formed by hand through spinning and beating technics making each shape unique. The interior is finished in a lacquer to prevent oxidation. The exterior is brushed brass.
