The Bedford Fire Department was established in 1888. Proudly serving the town and county of Bedford Virginia for 135 years. Our company patch honors the men of The 116th Infantry R egiment in the Virginia Army National Guard. 19 men died the morning of June 6th 1944. They will always be known as the Bedford Boy's.
