Structural bee removal. This means that a “swarm” has moved in your structure and built comb. Once it has comb the queen begins to lay eggs and her pheromone is present. Just killi ng or spraying the bees will not help. You will be left with dead bees, honey, and comb that attracts roaches, ants, wax moths, and small hive beetles. The honey will begin to seep into wallboard and the pheromones from the comb can actually attract more bees in the future. We open the cavity, remove all comb, bees, and honey. You might even get some of you haven’t sprayed them. Before we seal back the cavity we will caulk, spray with a deterrent, paint with Kilz. We can replace the drywall or siding that has been cut away but if additional supplies are needed, you will be charged for them. DISCLAIMER: although every precaution is taken to prevent further infestation, we cannot guarantee that you won’t have bees again.
