Our Bee Waterer/Feeder uses a standard Mason jar (not the wide mouth) that screws into the feeder and can feed your bees water or can also be used to feed sugar water. They are a one piece design for easier cleanup and come in various colors. Years ago we sold a version that used a water bottle but because the plastic bottles were light weight, once the liquid got low, the wind could easily knock them over. The glass jars add extra weight to the waterer/feeder to keep it from blowing over. These fit standard Mason jars and Kerr jars with a regular mount. They do not fit the wide-mouth jars. They fit fine with Mason quart jars along with Kerr 2 pint jars and smaller 1 pint jars. These need to sit on a level surface so the water pools in the tray. They are printed with PETG plastic so they have some UV protection and are food safe.Glass jars are not included with the feeder.
