The Story of our Cosmetics During lockdown, back in 2021, our wonderful Beeble bees were still thriving and producing copious amounts of delicious honey. Therefore, although some of this was being used in the honey whisky, we still found ourselves with some unused honey and leftover beeswax. To minimise waste, we tried to think of innovative ways of using it. Eventually we came up with the idea of trialling some cosmetics. Matt decided to try and make his own lip balm in his kitchen using a handful of natural ingredients, including beeswax and also a touch of peppermint oil, his favourite scent! Meanwhile Hester, thought she'd be even more adventurous and experimented with a hand cream and body scrub, using honey and floral scents inspired by flowers from her mum's garden. Since then we have been trialling some more products to add to the Beeble Cosmetics Range and hope to be releasing a Hand Wash later this year!
