Beach leaf necklace. This necklace displays the radiant green and glowing gold colours of autumn and will make a striking addition to any outfit. The beech, sometimes known as the “Mother of the Woods”, or the queen of trees, is considered to be protective and nurturing. Beech leaves were carried as talismans of good luck. Every leaf is individually handmade by me in Hampshire, England so there will be slight variations in size, colour and shape making each piece unique, just as in nature. Leaf necklaces with veins are put through a rolling mill with a skeleton of an old life to emboss the vein pattern onto the leaf surface to give a realistic look.Learn how it's made here > The chain is sterling silver (18"/45cm) and the leaf made using recycled aluminium so the whole necklace is very light weight and hypoallergenic.
