Rendered bones, the building block for broth, the bulk of soup. Not an opinion, pasture raised livestock have more flavor than feedlot animals. So, the bones have to be good or you r soup... won't matter. Sorry, had to do it. Flavor isn't the only thing percolating out of these bones. The adage, "you are what you eat", it's true! Our cattle eat grasses and forbs, while using sun and fresh air to prevent illness. Thus, their bones are free from unneeded antibiotics or hormones.
